Personal Accidental policy covers accidental death, loss of limbs, permanent total and partial disablement as selected and granted by the insurance companies based on the underwriting norms.
On payment of additional premium, medical expenses reimbursement can be covered. These expenses are payable, in case, if the claim is admitted under the basic policy cover.
Personal Accident Insurance's Scope of Coverage:
Death: It covers the claim paid to the legal beneficiaries of the Insured whose death was due to the accident.
Permanent Disability: It covers the claim paid to the Insured who is permanently disabled due to the accident. The claim is paid according to the level of disability.
Treatment Expenses: It covers the treatment expenses of the Insured who is injured by the cause of accident. The claim is limited to 5% of Death and Permanent Disability claims together.
Daily claim: It covers the loss of income in the case that the Insured can not work temporarily due to the accident.
